Kajiado Governor: Reshuffles Cabinet

Elveza Media is getting a report that Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku has this evening reshuffled his Cabinet.

Public Service, Administration & Participation CEC Alais Kisota is the new Finance and County Treasury CEC Member. He replaces Michael Semera who moves to Water, Irrigation and Environment.

County Secretary Francis Sakuda will replace Mr Kisota as CEC Member for Public Service and Administration.

The new acting County Secretary is Mr Samuel Seki. Mr Seki who was Education and Vocational Training CEC Member, will be replaced by a new appointee; Mr Jeremiah Ole Ncharo.

Water, Irrigation and Environment CEC Member Florence Waiganjo will now be the Trade, Tourism, Culture and Wildlife CEC Member.

Agriculture, Livestock Development and Fisheries CEC Member Moses Ole Narok, has been replaced by Ms Jackline Koin, who was the CEC Member for Trade, Culture, Tourism and Wildlife. Mr Narok will now be the Governor Political Advisor.

Four CEC Members retained their portfolios.

Esther Somoire (Health Services)

Hamilton Parseina (Lands and Urban Planning)

Alvin Kimani (Sports, Youth Affairs and Gender Services)

Alex Kilouwa (Roads, Public Works and Transport)


Director of Revenue Njoroge Mwaura will now be the new Chief Officer in charge the of Governor’s Delivery Unit & Special Programmes. Mr Mwaura replaced Benson Leyian who will now be the Chief Officer – Youth and Sports.

Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Planning Chief Officer Moses Murrunya has been moved to Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries which was held by Leaky Ritei. Mr Ritei is now the Chief Officer – Tourism, Culture, Wildlife. Mr Ritei replaced Sankaire Tima.

Mr Tima is now the Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Planning Chief Officer.

The new Education & Vocational Training Chief Officer is Samson Parashina. Mr Parashina who was the Chief Officer in the Department of Cooperative Development has been replaced by a new Appointee Mr Richard Muimo Parsitau.
