SIMO: Laid To Rest as His Brother and Ngong MCA Hon. Sungura Vows To Take Care Of His Family.
The late Simon Ichung’wa Muoria was on Friday 25th January 2019, laid to rest in the family land in Kareru. The funeral prayers were held in Ngong Catholic St Joseph Cathedral. The prayers were attended by thousands of friends, relatives, and leaders including Kajiado Governor Hon. Joseph Ole Lenku, Kajiado North MP Hon. Joseph Manje, Oloolua Ward MCA Hon. Martin Kimemia and many others.
Members of Catholic Men Association (CMA) were very active during the entire burial ceremony. They carried the casket to and from the church as well to the grave. Security was very tight and well co-ordinated.
The Eulogy was read by Hon. Sungura. The late Simon son Henry Muoria, gave an emotional farewell message to his late father, on behalf of his siblings.
Hon. Sungura took a vow to protect and take care of his late brother 3 children and wife.
Brief History Of The Late Simon Muoria
The late Simon was born in Mwanza, Maswa District of Shinyanga Province in Tanganyika in 1967.
He attended Karen “C” Primary School in 1973, Olooliser High School and Ruiru High for his A levels.
He was a member of the Catholic Church, and the chair of Ngong Catholic Men Association (CMA) until his demise.
The late Simon was married to Rose Wangari Waititu with whom they had 3 children; Henry Muoria (Thika High School, Alice Wanjiku Ndugu (Enomatasian Girls Secondary) and Alice Wanjiku (St Hannahs Karen)
He was a businessman, property developer and run a motorcycle shop, mpesa and banking services outlet in Sungura Plaza, Ngong.
